PURPOSE: Previous recursive partitioning analysis (RPA) of patients with malignant glioma
(glioblastoma multiforme [GBM] and anaplastic astrocytoma [AA]) produced six prognostic
groups (I–VI) classified by six factors. We sought here to determine whether the classification
