In a prospective study, α-lipoprotein (α-Lp) cholesterol concentration was studied in relation
to subsequent myocardial infarction. Serum lipids including α-Lp cholesterol were studied in
a hypercholesterolemic subsample of a random population sample. A group of 450 males
